How do I know if a book belongs to a collectable edition when selling on Amazon?

The previous owner of my house left an entire box of book club edition Dr. Suess books. Are book club editons collectable?

    Using Amazon, you basically don’t know that. Even with other selling sites, your only guide is the information provided by other book dealers.

    Very few such books exist. That’s why they are collectible. The chance that you have such a book is incredibly slim, though it is possible. The best thing to do is to look for similar editions at the big book listers and see if others have priced them very high. If so, you might have something. Even then, however, their prices might be unrealistic.
